Safe:

Sauna:
The opening hours are from 13:00 to 19:00, depending on demand. There are plenty of hand and bath towels available. We ask you not to take the bath towels from your room. Street shoes are not permitted in the wellness area. You can hire slippers and bathrobes at reception for a small fee.
Key:
As our hotel entrance is locked from around 23:00, we ask you to take your room key with you when you leave the hotel in the evening, as this will open both your room and the entrance door. If you need another way to enter the hotel, please contact reception

Our ski, boot and bike room in the basement is available for this purpose. Which has a shoe warmer. The shoe shine machine is located in the entrance area in the direction of the ski/boot room

Environmental protection:
As you may have noticed, this is a top priority for us. Refillable soap dispensers, variable towel change, heat regulators on the radiators, low-packaging breakfast buffet, waste separation, solar energy generation, heating energy from biomass, LED technology and much more have become a matter of course for us. If you wish, you too can make your contribution. Switch off the light and the TV when you leave your room. Take part in the variable towel change. Put empty bottles next to the garbage can. Because we have only borrowed the earth from our children!
Laundry service:
Laundry handed in at reception before 09:00 is usually returned the same day, except on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. We make every effort to treat your laundry as carefully and carefully as possible, but cannot guarantee against damage. We ask you to use the professional cleaning service for delicate items. The reception will be happy to help you with this.

Hotel Nova is quietly located in the centre of Gaschurn in the Montafon valley (Vorarlberg, Austria), right on the walking and cycling path and the cross-country ski trail.
How far is the hotel from the cable car valley station?
The Versettla cable car valley station, gateway to the Silvretta Montafon ski and hiking area, is only 110 m away – a few minutes on foot.
Can I travel without a car?
Yes. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel. The cable car, shops and restaurants are just a few minutes’ walk away.
How do I get to the hotel by train?
The nearest railway station is Schruns. From there, take the bus to the Versettla Bahn stop right next to the hotel.
Is there parking?
Yes, the hotel has a private car park – every guest has their own parking space. Parking is included in the room rate.

Yes. The panoramic indoor pool with a 12 × 6 m basin, Montafon spring water and mountain views is open from 07:00 to 19:00, exclusively for hotel guests.

Really warm: the water in the panoramic indoor pool is over 30 °C.
Which saunas are there?
Finnish sauna (80–100 °C), bio sauna (50–60 °C), steam bath (approx. 45 °C), infrared cabin and bubbling foot bath. Open from 13:00 to 19:00.
Are massages available?
Yes, exclusively for hotel guests: wellness, combination, foot reflexology, cupping, Lava Shell and Chinese vital point massage. Please book appointments early at reception.
How much do the massages cost?
For example: wellness massage 50 min € 63, partial body massage 30 min € 44, foot reflexology 50 min € 50, Lava Shell 30 min € 55 or 60 min € 77, Chinese vital point massage 60 min € 76.
Is there a garden?
Yes, with a sunbathing lawn, daybeds under old fruit trees, direct access to the indoor pool and views of Valülla, Gantekopf, Zamangspitze and Schafboden.
Is the hotel family-friendly?
Yes: children’s playroom, play tower with slide, swing and sandpit, table football and table tennis. A public playground and the mini golf course are right next to the hotel.
Is there baby equipment?
Yes: cots, high chairs, nappy bins, children’s cutlery and child carriers. We are happy to warm baby food in our kitchen.
What do children eat?
Children get the same menu as their parents at no extra charge; pasta, schnitzel and ice cream are also available on request.
Can children learn to ski?
Yes, at the ski kindergarten with magic carpet and practice lift right next to the Versettla cable car valley station.
Is there a children’s programme in summer?
Yes. The BergePLUS children’s programme (Mon–Fri 09:30–13:00, from age 6) is free for our guests. For children aged 8 and over there is a weekly guided via ferrata tour through the Röbischlucht gorge – free of charge, equipment included.
Does the hotel offer guided hikes?
Yes. As a BergePLUS partner we offer 1–2 guided hikes daily with certified mountain guides – free for hotel guests and bookable online.
Can I borrow hiking equipment?
Yes, hiking maps, poles and child carriers free of charge.
Can I rent e-bikes at the hotel?
Yes, full-suspension e-bikes for adults and children. For your own bike there is an e-bike garage with charging facilities and tools.
How many hiking and biking trails are there in the Montafon?
1,160 km of signposted hiking trails, 260 km of bike routes and 24 via ferratas. The Verwall nature reserve begins right at the hotel.
Are there via ferratas for beginners?
Yes. Several times a week, professional guides take beginners on their first via ferrata. Harness, helmet and gloves are provided, and the BergePLUS tour is free for hotel guests.
What can I do when it rains?
In the hotel: the panoramic indoor pool, the sauna area and games in the Montafoner Stüberl. Nearby: the museum in Gaschurn and the Alpine Coaster Montafon, a 2.6 km all-weather toboggan run.
Is there a drugstore, pharmacy and doctor nearby?
The Lang drugstore is about 50 m away. Doctors: Dr. König in Gaschurn and Dr. Buzmaniuk in St. Gallenkirch; the nearest pharmacy is in Schruns. ATMs are in the community centre, at SPAR and at the valley station.
How big is the ski area?
Silvretta Montafon has over 140 km of slopes, 60 km of which are blue. The Versettla cable car valley station is 110 m from the hotel.
Is there a ski room?
Yes, a ski, boot and bike room with boot warmer in the basement (locked 20:00–07:00). You get a 10 % discount on ski rental.
Can I go cross-country skiing and tobogganing in Gaschurn?
Yes. The cross-country ski trail runs right past the hotel. The Montafon has four toboggan runs, including the Garfrescha – at 5.5 km the longest floodlit night toboggan run in Vorarlberg.
Are dogs allowed?
In the summer months yes, in certain room categories and only with prior registration before booking. Animals are not permitted in the restaurant, indoor pool or sauna.
